Lisa Rosendahl is an HR leader with more than 18 years of professional human resources experience.

Named one of the Top 25 Digital Influencers in 2009, Lisa's experience with blogging and social media has been for personal and professional development. She is now taking what she's learned into the workplace to positively impact business results and to bridge the gap between what HR currently is and what it can be.

Lisa, a former Army officer, has spent her human resources career in both public and private organizations and with the federal government. Lisa is recognized as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resource Management and a Human Capital Strategist (HCS) by the Human Capital Institute and is immersed in human resource management every day.

Simply Lisa (formerly HR Thoughts) has been consistently recognized as a Top 25 Talent Management blog by Fistful of Talent and was recognized as one of the the Top 50 HR Blogs to Watch in 2009 and 2010 by EvanCarmichael.com.

Lisa is co-founder and editor of a website and community, Women of HR, (launched June 3, 2010) dedicated to providing a place for women to get human resource, leadership and business information, discuss the issues that impact their lives, and discover community and collaboration.

What started out as a way to process thoughts, is quickly developing into a craft as Lisa seeks out opportunities to write (and speak) on leadership, personal growth and human resources.

This is a personal blog and does not represent the views of anyone other than Lisa.
